Administration, Faculty & Staff

Christmas Luncheon

Before 2009 Christmas dismissal, the Fathers of the Congregation of the Pharr Oratory and Sister Estellita Cantú, C. O., hosted a luncheon for faculty and staff in the school cafeteria. As a surprise and gift, a faculty member arranged for Mariachi to grace us with their music while we served ourselves, exchanged gifts, and ate. Later, for our enjoyment, a group of musicians gifted us with their “música tropical”. In celebration of the feast day, many staff danced with joy and managed to work off a few calories. All in all, it was a wonderful time as we formed community in celebration of Christ’s birth.

Teaching is the profession that teaches all the other professions.

One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.
~Carl Jung

Dear Teachers,

May God bless you for the gift of teaching you have shared with the student body of the Pharr Oratory of St. Philip Neri School System.
